Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service position
- Experience with soliciting and implementing feedback to improve performance
- Regular and consistent attendance and ability to sit and work with hands and arms for at least eight hours per day and five days per week
- Physical ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, walk, crawl, push and pull items weighing up to 20 pounds
- Stand and move throughout the cafe and office
- Must be able to interact with customers for at least eight hours per day and five days per week
- Ability to perform basic math including add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Have reliable onsite attendance
- Proficient interpersonal and communicative skills in English
- Ability to interpret and follow various instructions and procedures
- Consistently meet deadlines
- Work under pressure with changing priorities
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors and employees
- High level of manual dexterity for typing and computer use
- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work overtime occasionally
- Occasional travel may be required
- Ability to stand stationary for long periods and perform continuous physical activity
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Ability to use restaurant equipment adeptly
- Perform basic math and fractions for recipe completion
- Respond effectively to staff and customer requests in a loud environment

Job Duties
- Contribute to the overall culture and business growth using the Culture Guide as a tool for self-reflection, growth, and company success
- Participate in or lead improvement committees and projects
- Ensure customers have positive interactions and are served delicious coffee to quality standards
- Stay knowledgeable about all cafe offerings including drinks, beans, brew equipment, and Ritual products
- Be proactive to anticipate needs, prevent problems, and maintain smooth operations
- Follow employee and cafe operations policies including cash handling, scheduling, and feedback processes
- Help keep the cafe clean, beautiful, and safe, fostering a fun, inclusive environment
