Job Requirements
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proven experience in human resources or safety
- BSc or BA in safety, HR management or relevant field
- Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to obtain 30-hour OSHA Certification
- Valid Florida driver’s license and ability to travel to accounts across South Florida
- Ability to present public training engagingly
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Must pass pre-employment screening including background check and drug test
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 45 lbs
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods
- Ability to drive a vehicle
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- BSc or BA in safety, human resources management or relevant field
- Proven experience in human resources or safety
- Ability to produce reports and develop policies

- Ability to obtain 30-hour OSHA Certification
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Ability to speak publicly and deliver engaging training

Job Duties
- Develop and execute health and safety plans compliant with regulatory bodies
- Conduct safety audits on job sites including review of Material Safety Data Sheets
- Maintain annual labor law postings as mandated
- Review and document incidents and near misses and follow up on safety
- Update and maintain employee incident reporting materials with HR
- Survey employees post-accident for recommendations
- Attend quarterly claims review meetings and report improvements
- Prepare monthly internal reports on safety and risk metrics
- Communicate with employees off work due to injury to minimize risk
- Evaluate safety-related employee survey data and recommend solutions
- Maintain 52-week safety topic plan
- Add and update safety training information and best practices
- Recommend and maintain health and safety policies
- Prepare and present safety and accident prevention training
- Collaborate with QC/Safety inspectors for safety inspection reports
- Recommend solutions for safety issues and prevention measures
- Report on health and safety awareness and statistics
- Work with Safety Director on safety plan and budget
- Develop and maintain employee wellness plans
- Conduct safety trainings
- Use risk analysis to establish key safety drivers
- Perform other assigned duties
