Job Requirements
- Obtain and maintain current food handlers card
- ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented work environment
- flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays required
- ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- ability to work long periods on feet including frequent walking, stair climbing, and working outdoors
- positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
- ability to perform repetitive movements and fine hand manipulations
- ability to work with heat sources, sharp objects, and cleaning chemicals

Job Qualifications
- Previous management related experience preferred but not required
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to accurately work with numbers and menu specifications
- ability to manage staff in a positive and professional manner
- capable of multitasking in a high volume, fast paced kitchen environment
- ability to work with diverse individuals
- knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to operate kitchen equipment and tools safely
- effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Oversee and supervise kitchen staff during shifts
- train new and existing cooks
- enforce portioning and food presentation standards
- maintain communication with executive chef and management
- manage kitchen service areas to ensure they are stocked and organized
- regulate labor and oversee side work
- perform administrative duties such as scheduling and payroll
- handle customer service issues and resolve personnel conflicts
- ensure adherence to McMenamins policies and food safety procedures
- perform kitchen tasks including prep cook, line cook, and dishwasher duties as needed
