Job Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain current food handler's card
  • flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to accurately work with numbers and menu specifications
  • ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented work environment
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous management-related experience preferred but not required
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • strong multitasking abilities
  • commitment to safety and quality standards
  • proficiency in handling kitchen equipment and tools
  • positive attitude and value for diversity

Job Duties

  • Oversee and train cooks on duty
  • enforce portioning guidelines
  • communicate consistently with head management
  • ensure timely food expediting
  • maintain and organize service and work areas
  • regulate labor and oversee side work
  • perform cleaning duties
  • supervise and train staff
  • carry out administrative duties such as scheduling and payroll
  • handle personnel and customer service issues as they arise
  • perform duties of prep cook, line cook, and dishwasher as needed
  • troubleshoot problems during shifts
