Job Requirements
- Obtain and maintain current food handler's card
- flexible schedule including mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to accurately work with numbers and menu specifications
- ability to remain calm and focused in a high volume, deadline oriented work environment
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for long periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous management-related experience preferred but not required
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- strong multitasking abilities
- commitment to safety and quality standards
- proficiency in handling kitchen equipment and tools
- positive attitude and value for diversity
Job Duties
- Oversee and train cooks on duty
- enforce portioning guidelines
- communicate consistently with head management
- ensure timely food expediting
- maintain and organize service and work areas
- regulate labor and oversee side work
- perform cleaning duties
- supervise and train staff
- carry out administrative duties such as scheduling and payroll
- handle personnel and customer service issues as they arise
- perform duties of prep cook, line cook, and dishwasher as needed
- troubleshoot problems during shifts
