Job Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Previous restaurant server experience or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach overhead, bend, kneel, and balance for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Constant use of vision including distance, depth perception, field, and color vision
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to operate glassware washing machines and refill ice bins
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to communicate in English, both written and oral
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant server experience
  • Knowledge of menu products
  • Superior knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding alcohol service
  • Ability to communicate in English both written and oral
  • Skills in compiling, coordination, following instructions, influencing others, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
  • Ability to operate glassware washing machines and utilize ice machines
  • Flexible working availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Take beverage and food orders from restaurant guests and input orders into POS system
  • Deliver orders following required standards for the position
  • Prepare tableside items and anticipate guest's needs
  • Complete all side work including wiping down stations, re-stocking supplies, polishing silverware, buffing glasses, setting up service cart, and breaking down stations at close
  • Explain menu to the guests and answer any questions
  • Memorize menu and specials to recommend dishes and beverage pairings
  • Check on quality of food and service to ensure excellent guest service
