Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • ability to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment
  • ability to effectively deal with customers, management, and team members
  • ability to sit, stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino
  • ability to speak and hear
  • use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • ability to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level
  • ability to bend, stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push or pull
  • ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • able to work in a smoke-filled environment
  • able to tolerate loud noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • ability to deal with customers and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • ability to interpret and follow instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • excellent time management, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • dedication to meeting or exceeding expectations of clients

Job Duties

  • Believe and demonstrate the GSR Vision and Mission Statement
  • take beverage orders from restaurant customers and input orders into POS system
  • deliver orders following required standards for the position
  • prepare tableside items as requested by customer
  • anticipate guest's needs
  • complete all side work including wiping down stations, re-stocking supplies, etc
  • polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart, prepare tables and stations
  • breakdown stations, carts, and tables at close of restaurant
  • explain menu to guests and answer any questions
  • always check on quality of food and service to ensure excellent guest service
