Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • capable of handling physical job demands including lifting up to 25 pounds
  • flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, smoke-filled environment
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • dependable with regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • ability to deal with customers and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English to complete reports, correspondence and communicate effectively
  • ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills
  • flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations of internal and external clients
  • trusted and seen as a truthful individual who respects others
  • courteous, respectful, and clear communication skills

Job Duties

  • Believe and demonstrate through their work the GSR Vision and Mission Statement
  • take beverage orders from restaurant customers and input orders into POS system
  • deliver orders following required standards for the position
  • prepare tableside items as requested by customer
  • anticipate guest's needs
  • complete all side work including wiping down stations and re-stocking supplies
  • polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart
  • breakdown stations, carts and tables at close of restaurant
  • explain menu to the guests and answer any questions they may have
  • always check on quality of food and service to ensure excellent guest service
