Job Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field
- Two or more years of job related experience or equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Two or more years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and experience
- Experience working in a university setting with activities and event planning preferred
- Knowledge of event planning software preferred
- Understanding of student development theory preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with high accuracy
- High degree of discretion
Job Duties
- Serve as primary scheduler for events and activities in University Union facilities
- Advise clients on food policies, vendor requirements, and event planning best practices
- Supervise the Event Reservation Specialist student team
- Plan and execute departmental events supporting student engagement and university initiatives
- Develop budgets and manage expenditures and revenue streams
- Partner with campus offices to support an inclusive Student Life environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
