Job Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in the revenue management field as manager or senior analyst
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hotel or hospitality management or closely related field
- in-depth knowledge of industry reports such as STR, Hotelligence, Market Vision
- proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- ability to work quickly in a high-pressure and high stress environment
- ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- excellent time management skills
- exceptional with details and follow up
- flexible and able to work long hours

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Establish hotel pricing levels in all segments
- responsible for the daily room inventory management process and daily pricing process
- monitor competitor rates, positioning, strategies and data
- maintain understanding of the dynamics of the local market and demand generators and present appropriate action plans to management
- monitor and communicate fluctuations in occupancy to operational departments to manage staffing and increase efficiency
- analyze local events and activities and project their effect
- understand macro and micro-economic variables to create accurate operational and financial room revenue forecasts
- perform unconstrained demand analysis to determine optimal business mix
- responsible for all short and long term forecasts including weekly, 30, 60, 90 day and full year forecasts
- oversee evaluation of all opportunities for contracted business through Sales department to maximize profits
- maintain software programs management including CRS, RMS, PMS and Sales and Catering system
- monitor RevPAR index on STR reports and provide performance analysis
- prepare annual Rooms revenue budget
- chair weekly Revenue Strategy meetings to formulate and disseminate strategies and evaluate effectiveness
- prepare and present quarterly presentations to ownership
- ensure all distribution channels have correct content and pricing
- develop and maintain relationships with market managers of Third Party Intermediaries
- network with other revenue managers and Directors of Revenue
- coordinate survey activities involving marketing and service opportunities
- develop all subordinates for revenue management and leadership skill growth
- manage Internet marketing such as pay per click campaigns, e-mail blasts, and GDS advertising
- establish and communicate sales strategy for day, week, month and rolling 12 months
- communicate strategy changes and updates to sales team
- analyze prior night successes and address opportunities in morning meetings
- place test calls to Central Reservation Office and property for rate accuracy
- manage group cut off dates and group rooms control logs
- update Daily Market Segment Analysis and review actual versus potential performance
- complete month end reports with detailed analysis and action plans
- review Hotelligence reports for trends and rate comparison
