Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or graduate degree program in hotel management or related field
- Ability to work full-time during the 10-week internship period
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Capacity to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced hospitality setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Job Qualifications
- Currently studying for bachelor’s degree, graduate degree, or equivalent in hotel management or a related field
- Coursework in hotel revenue management concepts and tools preferred
- Strong interest in hospitality revenue management
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and problem identification
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret revenue performance data
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manipulate data effectively
Job Duties
- Support hotel’s yield efforts through analysis and reporting to identify revenue opportunities based on budget, forecast, pace, and market demand
- Assist the Revenue team in preparing short and long-term reports and forecasts
- Handle problems effectively by anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving issues as necessary
- Collaborate with team members and management to optimize revenue streams
- Collect, analyze, and interpret revenue performance data
- Utilize revenue management tools and software to support decision-making
- Participate in meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills in revenue management
