Job Requirements
- CPA certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of revenue accounting experience
- Proficient in ASC 606 revenue recognition principles
- Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite
- Strong data analysis skills
- Ability to manage complex transactions and high volume data
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate cross functionally

Job Qualifications
- CPA
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience in Big 4 or high-growth tech fintech company preferred
- 5+ years experience in revenue accounting
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition for complex contracts
- High comfort with high transaction volume and data complexity
- Strong systems mindset with experience in ERP systems such as NetSuite and revenue tools
- Tech forward with experience or desire to use AI and latest technologies
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills working cross functionally
Job Duties
- Own the end-to-end revenue accounting process including recognition of commissions, contingent commissions, and usage fees
- Apply and interpret ASC 606 across various revenue streams including variable consideration and usage-based models
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting for all revenue-related accounts
- Maintain and update revenue recognition policies and accounting memos
- Partner with cross-functional teams in data and engineering to enhance data quality and streamline revenue reporting from multiple systems
- Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation opportunities to scale revenue accounting operations
- Collaborate with external auditors providing support for audit and SOX compliance activities
- Assist with special projects including ERP optimization, internal control development, and IPO or public company readiness
