Job Duties
- assist in supervising the warehouse operations team to ensure safe, efficient and accurate execution of assignments
- assist in freight management and documentation for inbound and outbound freight
- maintain open communication with the production and shop teams
- assist in maintaining a mindset and effort towards continuous improvement both operationally and financially
- partner with the warehouse coordinators, production coordinators and shop lead for necessary equipment moves and vetting
- utilize heavy equipment such as forklifts to facilitate the organization and movement of equipment
- prioritize equipment cleanliness and ready to use operational status
- ensure all equipment is stored in an organized and timely fashion
- partner with warehouse coordinators to execute the movement of equipment
- maintain overall cleanliness and organization of shipping areas and floor space
- audit the condition of equipment once it returns from a project
- occasionally participate in the set up or take down of equipment on job sites
