Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar major preferred
  • Active progress towards a degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of sports and enthusiasm for in-person events preferred
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Minimum five years of supervisory experience
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred
  • Experience in sports hospitality or a similar industry is a plus
  • Proven skills in verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Minimum five years of supervisory experience with coaching abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, sales, and operations effectively
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience in event management and vendor relationship oversight
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Full oversight of all revenue related activities including goal setting, forecasting, and sales strategy development
  • Active participation in outbound and inbound sales, in-person meetings, and community initiatives
  • Owning and growing relationships with university partners across departments
  • Developing and implementing guest communication plans for tailgate and event rental clients
  • Cultivating a team culture focused on poise, accountability, attention to detail, and hospitality
  • Managing financial records and key performance metrics to deliver actionable insights
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable for all properties and operations
  • Setting and managing pricing and discounts as approved by Vice President
  • Supervising and developing team members through consistent feedback and performance evaluations
  • Overseeing recruiting and assisting with corporate training
  • Supporting company-wide initiatives and promoting adoption of policies and processes
  • Strategic operational planning and trend forecasting
  • Managing budgets and ensuring compliance with company processes
  • Overseeing quality control, maintenance, inventory, and process management systems
  • Event management including layout, design assistance, operations oversight, and vendor relationship management
  • Asset management including facility maintenance, warehouse and office organization, fleet management, and safety compliance
  • Managing public relations and community relations including university administration and athletic departments
  • Maintaining positive partner and client relationships
  • Attending community functions with executive management
