Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality or event management
  • Proven track record in sales and revenue generation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial records
  • Experience in strategic planning and operational oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Full oversight of all revenue related activities including goal setting, forecasting, and execution of sales strategies
  • Active participation in revenue generation including outbound sales, inbound sales, in-person meetings and community development initiatives
  • Owning and growing relationships with university partners across multiple departments
  • Developing and overseeing guest communication plans for tailgate and event rental clients
  • Building a team culture focused on accountability, detail orientation, and hospitality
  • Maintaining knowledge of financial records and key performance metrics to provide actionable insights
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable for properties and operations including tracking and reporting
  • Overseeing pricing and discounts as approved by Vice President
  • Supervising and developing team members with consistent feedback
  • Assisting with recruiting and corporate training as needed
  • Supporting company-wide initiatives and encouraging adoption of processes and policies
  • Strategic planning and trend forecasting
  • Budget oversight
  • Ensuring compliance with company initiatives and process improvements
  • Managing and improving systems related to quality control, maintenance, inventory, and processes
  • Overseeing event layout, design assistance, and event operations
  • Managing vendor relationships including rental, food, and beverage partners
  • Overseeing facility management including organization, cleanliness, maintenance, and service contracts
  • Managing fleet management with focus on cleanliness, maintenance, safety training, and policy compliance
  • Conducting asset counts and overseeing repair schedules
  • Budgeting for labor, event expenses, and office expenditures
  • Managing public relations and communications
  • Serving as a visible company representative in community relations
  • Managing existing partner and client relationships
  • Attending community functions with executive management
