Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar major preferred or equivalent experience
  • knowledge of sports and excitement surrounding in-person events preferred
  • demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • five or more years of supervisory experience with coaching ability

Job Duties

  • Oversee all revenue-related activities including tailgates and event rentals
  • develop and execute sales strategies with goal setting and forecasting
  • actively participate in outbound and inbound sales and community development
  • manage and grow relationships with university partners
  • develop and manage guest communication plans for clients
  • foster a team culture focused on accountability and hospitality
  • maintain financial records including accounts payable and receivable
  • set pricing and discount strategies
  • supervise and mentor team members with consistent feedback
  • oversee recruiting and assist in training
  • support company-wide initiatives and adoption of policies
  • engage in strategic planning and trend forecasting
  • oversee budgets and financial controls
  • ensure compliance with company initiatives
  • manage quality control, inventory, and process improvements
  • handle event layout, design, and operations management
  • manage vendor relationships including rentals and food and beverage
  • oversee facility and asset management including cleanliness, maintenance, and fleet management
  • manage budgets for labor, events, and office expenses
  • lead public relations and community engagement
  • maintain partner and client relationships
  • attend community and executive functions
  • complete tasks with accuracy and timely communication
  • analyze and solve problems efficiently
