Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar major and/or active progress towards a degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of sports and the excitement surrounding in-person events is a plus
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills in verbal and written forms
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Five or more years of supervisory experience, with demonstrated ability to coach team members

Job Duties

  • Full oversight of all revenue related activities including goal setting, forecasting, and sales strategy development
  • Active participation in outbound and inbound sales efforts and community development
  • Ownership and growth of relationships with university partners
  • Development and oversight of guest communication plans for clients
  • Cultivation of a team culture focused on poise, accountability, and hospitality
  • Maintenance of financial records and key performance metrics
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable, pricing, and discounts
  • Supervision and development of team members including recruiting and training
  • Support of company-wide initiatives and promotion of process adoption
  • Strategic planning and trend forecasting
  • Budget oversight and compliance management
  • Improvement of systems including quality control and inventory management
  • Event layout, design assistance, and operational oversight
  • Facility and asset management including warehouse and fleet oversight
  • Public relations and management of community and partner relationships
  • Attending community functions with executive management
  • Ensuring professional and timely communication
  • Problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining confidentiality and positive workplace attitude
  • Generating and implementing creative ideas
  • Openness to coaching and best practices
