Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in business administration or a similar major and/or active progress towards a degree or equivalent experience
  • knowledge of sports and excitement around in-person events is a plus
  • effective communication skills in verbal and written forms
  • demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • five or more years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to coach team members

Job Duties

  • full oversight of all revenue related activities including tailgates and event rentals
  • active participation in outbound and inbound sales activities, in-person meetings, and community development initiatives
  • owning and growing university partner relationships across multiple departments
  • developing and implementing guest communication plans for all tailgate and event rental clients
  • fostering a team culture focused on poise, accountability, and hospitality
  • maintaining financial records and key performance metrics to provide insights to leadership
  • managing accounts payable and receivable including tracking and reporting
  • owning pricing and discount decisions as approved by Vice President
  • supervising and developing team members through consistent feedback
  • overseeing recruiting and assisting with corporate training
  • supporting company-wide initiatives and encouraging process adoption
  • strategic planning and trend forecasting
  • overseeing budgets and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • managing quality control, maintenance, inventory, and process management systems
  • planning and overseeing event layouts and vendor relationships
  • managing facility aspects including warehouse and office cleanliness, landscape, pest control, fleet management, and inventory maintenance
  • public relations and community engagement
  • managing partner relationships and attending community functions with executive management
