Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with children and children’s events
  • retail or customer service experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to remain standing for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • capability to manage stress and maintain positive interactions with guests and co-workers
  • ability to adhere to company safety and operational standards

Job Qualifications

  • familiarity with customer engagement and loyalty programs

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards with event setup and breakdown
  • help customers shop and find products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • promote Benefits program and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers on voice of customer surveys
  • assist with omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
  • participate in truck unloading and merchandise stocking
  • maintain store recovery and implement store in stock optimization duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully with colleagues and customers
  • cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleaning activities
