Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in event coordination or customer service
- ability to stand for long periods
- capability to lift, carry, reach, and bend regularly
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- effective communication skills
- ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
- ability to operate within a fast-paced retail environment
- ability to engage positively with customers of all ages
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy boxes and using ladders
- must satisfy federal, state, and local job legal requirements

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages to create a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct party participants in crafts and activities including face painting
- facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup or emergency plans
- ensure client satisfaction for all scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote and enroll customers in rewards programs and credit cards
- educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- assist with omnichannel sales processes
- participate in truck unloading and stocking
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to SOPs and company policies
- interact respectfully with customers and team members
- cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
