Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- Experience lifting heavy boxes and working on ladders
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Compliance with federal, state, and local job requirements
- Ability to work in a public retail store environment
- Willingness to engage in customer service and store operational duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Retail or customer service experience
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with customers and team members
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities including face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons according to company standards
- Communicate with clients and store team members regarding events
- Complete administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and breaking down events
