Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children and children’s events
- retail or customer service experience
- excellent communication skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
- ability to perform physical tasks including bending, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- positive attitude and energetic personality
- ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as required
- ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by fostering an environment of fun and creativity
- demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and face painting
- facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- communicate effectively with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup or emergency plans
- ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- engage customers on Rewards program and credit card benefits and complete enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, planograms, merchandise recovery, and maintenance
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures
- interact respectfully and positively with others
- cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
