- Experience handling heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder
- Demonstrated ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others

- Must meet federal, state, and local legal job requirements

- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Excellent people skills
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain positive and respectful in difficult situations
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with guests by creating fun and creative environments
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- Communicate event details with clients and team members
- Complete administrative tasks including emails and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout
- Promote Rewards program and Credit Card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking and merchandising
- Perform merchandise recovery and store maintenance
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Demonstrate respectful and positive interaction with others
- Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
