Job Requirements

  • Experience working with children and children’s events
  • Retail or customer service experience
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to move throughout the store
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage clients of all ages by fostering a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects, face painting and other activities
  • Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • Communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks like answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • Create backup or emergency plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Uphold company cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Engage customers on rewards programs and credit card enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • Participate in unloading trucks, stocking and planogram processes
  • Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
