Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others including guests and co-workers
  • must be able to stand for long periods
  • ability to move throughout the store
  • capability for regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder
  • flexible to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed
  • must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for the job

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects while performing activities such as face painting
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons to company standards
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans based on client feedback and needs
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning for events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
  • engage customers on Rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
