Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and facilitating children’s events
  • Retail or customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and reaching
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Commitment to upholding company’s safety and cleanliness standards

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects, face painting, and other activities
  • Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • Communicate event details with clients and team members
  • Complete administrative tasks like answering emails and making phone calls
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
  • Create backup plans for emergencies
  • Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Perform merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • Conduct Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company programs
  • Interact with customers and team members respectfully and professionally
  • Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
