Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Ability to perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or equipment
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- Excellent people skills
- Good communication skills including written, verbal, and listening abilities
- Organizational skills and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as required
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and develop backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- Help customers shop and locate products while providing solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote Rewards program and assist with Private Label Credit Card enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
- Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise recovery
- Perform store optimization and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and execute company policies
- Interact respectfully with customers and coworkers and act as a role model
- Cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
