Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children and children’s events
- retail or customer service experience
- excellent communication skills including written, verbal, nonverbal and listening
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others
- physical ability to remain standing for long periods and perform manual tasks such as bending, lifting and carrying
- ability to climb ladders and access high shelves
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- compliance with federal, state and local legal job requirements

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- create and implement backup or emergency plans
- ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- assist customers in shopping and locating products
- provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
- assist with Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store processes
- participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform store in stock optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
- interact positively and respectfully with customers and team members
- cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
