Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in event coordination or customer service
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch
  • Experience working with diverse age groups
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
  • Willingness to work in a retail environment with physical demands
  • Ability to follow company policies and standard operating procedures

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
  • Facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • Communicate events with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
  • Adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
  • Ensure client satisfaction and uphold store cleanliness and safety standards
  • Help customers shop and locate products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • Educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes
  • Participate in truck unload, stocking, and merchandise recovery
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • Interact positively and respectfully with customers and teammates
  • Cross trained in custom framing selling and production
  • Maintain daily store cleanliness
