Job Requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
  • ability to move throughout the store
  • regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching
  • lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
  • must be able to handle job stress and interact effectively with others including guests of all ages and co-workers
  • must meet federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment
  • must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • must adhere to safety standards including those in frame shop
  • must be able to maintain company cleanliness and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed
  • adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
  • create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold company cleanliness and safety standards, set up, break down, and clean before and after each event
  • help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
  • provide fast and friendly check out experience
  • engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
  • educate customer on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck un-load, stocking and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs to ensure compliance
  • interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner
  • remain positive and respectful promoting commitment to organization’s vision and values
  • cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining restrooms
  • perform other duties as assigned
