Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience working with children’s events
- retail or customer service experience required
- ability to stand for long periods
- able to lift and carry heavy boxes and equipment
- effective verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- ability to move throughout the store and perform physical tasks including bending and reaching
- adhere to safety and cleanliness standards
- capable of handling job stress and interacting well with coworkers and customers
- authorization to work in the U.S.

- excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written and verbal
- ability to engage diverse age groups in creative activities
- customer service experience preferably in retail

- knowledge of standard retail processes and customer engagement
- ability to perform administrative tasks such as email correspondence and phone communication
- experience in facilitating parties and event logistics
Job Duties
- plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage with clients across all age groups by fostering creativity and fun
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
- facilitate party add-ons including goody bags and balloons to company standards
- communicate effectively with clients and store team members about events
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
- adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- create backup or emergency plans for events
- ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
- help customers shop and locate products
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote rewards programs and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
- assist with online order processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and following planogram processes
- maintain merchandise recovery and store appearance
- perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies enforcing compliance
- promote a positive and respectful team environment and serve as a role model
- cross train in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
