Job Requirements
- Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
- Must meet federal, state, and local legal requirements
- Must contact supervisor if assistance is needed to perform essential functions
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Commitment to uphold cleanliness and safety standards
- Retail or customer service experience required

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in the completion of craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags, balloons, etc. to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed
- Adjust plans and events based on client’s feedback and needs
- Create backup or emergency plans to be executed as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Uphold the company’s cleanliness and safety standards by setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each event
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customer on Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in the truck unload, stocking and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties as assigned
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
- Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner and promote commitment to the organization's vision and values
- Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness of restrooms
- Other duties as assigned
