Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in event coordination or retail customer service
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical activities including lifting and bending
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience working with children and family events
- Ability to follow company procedures and safety standards
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Ability to engage positively and respectfully with customers and team members

- Experience working with children and children's events
- Excellent people skills
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal communication
- Organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to engage effectively with guests of all ages
- Ability to handle job stress while interacting positively
- Cross-training in custom framing selling and production preferred
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
- Demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and perform face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks like answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust plans and create backup or emergency plans as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards set up, break down, and clean before and after each event
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
- Assist with Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to SOPs and company policies
- Interact respectfully with customers and coworkers, serving as a role model
- Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities including sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Perform other duties as assigned
