Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working with children
  • retail or customer service experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to stand for long periods of time

  • ability to safely use ladders for stocking

Job Duties

  • plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • communicate effectively with clients and store team members regarding event details
  • complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
  • create backup plans for events as necessary
  • ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards by setting up and cleaning after events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout service
  • promote and enroll customers in rewards programs and credit cards
  • educate customers on customer feedback surveys
  • assist with omnichannel services including BOPIS and SFS
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • cross-train in custom framing sales and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness including sweeping and restroom maintenance
