Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Retail or customer service experience
  • Experience working with children and children's events
  • Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
  • Organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and reaching
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • Must comply with all federal, state, and local legal requirements

  • Experience working with children and children's events
  • Excellent people skills
  • Good communication skills including written, verbal, nonverbal, and listening

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
  • Engage guests of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
  • Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform activities such as face painting
  • Manage party add-ons including goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients and store team members
  • Complete administrative tasks like answering emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • Adjust event plans based on client feedback and ensure client satisfaction
  • Set up, break down, and clean event areas while upholding cleanliness and safety standards
  • Assist customers in shopping and locating products
  • Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • Promote rewards and credit card programs and complete enrollments
  • Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
  • Support Omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
  • Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
  • Support shrink and safety programs
  • Adhere to company policies, SOPs, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with customers and team members
  • Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • Participate in daily store cleanliness tasks
