Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to remain standing for long periods
- ability to move throughout the store
- ability to perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
- capability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders for high shelves
- experience in a public retail store environment
- availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- compliance with federal, state, and local employment legal requirements
- capability to engage in the interactive process for reasonable accommodation if needed

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages by fostering a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities like face painting
- facilitate event add-ons such as goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- communicate effectively with clients and store teams about event details
- manage administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- adapt events based on client feedback and prepare backup plans
- ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety before, during, and after events
- assist customers in shopping and product location
- provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- promote and enroll customers in Rewards programs and credit cards
- educate customers about the Voice of Customer survey
- support omnichannel sales processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store
- fulfill merchandise stocking, truck unloading, and planogram duties
- perform store recovery and maintenance
- participate in stock optimization and advertising set duties
- support shrink and safety initiatives
- comply with company policies and law requirements
- interact respectfully with customers and coworkers
- cross-train in custom framing sales and production
- contribute to daily cleanliness tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom upkeep
