Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years work experience in retail management preferably thrift
  • One-year customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid drivers' license and clean MVR
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen where applicable
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
  • Reliable transportation for store tasks and training
  • Flexibility to transfer and cover shifts at different stores due to business needs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years' work experience in retail management preferably in thrift store environment
  • One year customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid drivers' license and clean driving record
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and operational plans effectively

Job Duties

  • Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve income and revenue goals
  • Coordinates with Retail District Manager to develop strategic donation plans
  • Monitors product levels daily for sales budget achievement
  • Ensures payroll and operating costs are managed to budget
  • Delivers excellent customer service to donors and customers
  • Maintains clean and well-kept store environments reflecting Goodwill brand
  • Partners with community businesses to promote Goodwill mission
  • Maintains consistent in-person attendance
  • Serves as Goodwill ambassador to the community
  • Transfers to and covers shifts at different stores as needed
  • Ensures training and fulfillment of duties by all Team Members
  • Oversees donation processing and product pricing and display
  • Collaborates with district and support areas to maximize store and area performance
  • Manages performance, staffing, and development of Team Members
  • Supports cultural change and models Goodwill core values
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
