Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Capability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders safely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations respectfully and positively
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects, perform face painting and other activities
- Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including answering emails, making calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and needs
- Create and execute backup or emergency plans as needed
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- Assist customers in shopping and locating products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Promote and enroll customers in Rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys
- Support Omni channel retail processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- Execute Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with laws and company policies
- Promote positive and respectful interactions with customers and team members
- Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production
- Participate in daily store cleanliness activities
