Job Qualifications

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to supervise community service workers and volunteers

- Familiarity with cash handling and basic accounting procedures
- Ability to maintain store appearance and merchandise presentation
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques

- Basic computer skills for transactions and record keeping
Job Duties
- Ensure proper customer service to all donors and customers
- Reach designated production guidelines
- Participate in pricing, displaying, and selling store merchandise within established price ranges
- Assist in developing additional donors for the store
- Adequately stock and maintain the interior and exterior of the store in an attractive manner
- Balance cash register receipts, prepare daily bank deposits, and maintain records of store transactions occasionally
- Use cash register to total sales and accept payments
- Ensure proper rotation of all store merchandise
- Manage store's loss control by monitoring customers and employees and reporting suspicious activity
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by practicing good housekeeping
- Attend regular store meetings
- Act as a positive role model for employees, trainees, and customers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
