Job Requirements

  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or specialty environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to move, handle, and lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to build strong teams and partnerships
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
  • Knowledge of retail stock and inventory operations
  • Basic understanding of safety and asset protection procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Lead merchandise progression process including receiving deliveries, unloading and sorting cartons, processing merchandise, and flowing goods to the sales floor
  • Ensure back of house cleanliness, set-up and organization meet company standards
  • Reinforce company Asset Protection strategies to eliminate shortage
  • Promote safety by adhering to company guidelines
  • Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration
  • Drive associate compliance with company policies and standards
  • Direct associates and workload
  • Be accountable for team productivity results and merchandise protection
  • Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates
  • Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
  • Drive Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships
  • Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence
