Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in event coordination or customer service preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders
  • good physical condition to perform bending, carrying, reaching, and stretching
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • willingness to perform diverse retail duties including truck unload and stocking
  • compliance with federal, state, and local legal job requirements

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events at once including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by creating an environment of fun and creativity
  • demonstrate and instruct party participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
  • facilitate and implement party add-ons to company standards
  • communicate events with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks such as emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
  • ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards including setup and breakdown before and after events
  • help customers shop and locate products
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • engage customers on rewards program and credit card enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer survey
  • assist with omni channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact with others respectfully and positively
  • cross train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
