Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Must be legal age to work with alcohol
- Proof of responsible alcohol training and certification where applicable
- Ability to work flexible and rotational schedules including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in native language, both spoken and written
- Computer literacy in MS Office programs and POS systems
- Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing
- Must comply with uniform and PPE requirements
Job Qualifications
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Mathematical skills required for sales reports and audits
- Legal age to work with alcohol required
- Proof of responsible alcohol training and certification where applicable
- Flexibility to work a rotational schedule including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in the native language, both spoken and written
- Computer literacy in MS Office programs
- Ability to operate equipment such as photocopier, vacuum cleaner, calculator, printer, telephone, computer, and POS system
- Well groomed with a high level of professionalism
Job Duties
- Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties
- Hold pre-shift meetings to ensure that the team is aware of the day's tasks, visiting VIPs, Be the Difference & Safety of the day and any other miscellaneous information
- Act as a concierge resource for all guests with knowledge about the surrounding areas
- Ensure all guests are greeted upon entering the store
- Train Sales Associates and General Utility Workers to develop a customer service focused team
- Ensure smooth operations and handle customer relations in the absence of management
- Respond to customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Keep inventory of stock and note any shortages
- Order merchandise from warehouse and vendors
- Complete monthly safety inspections and file incident and injury reports
- Maintain cleanliness and a pleasant store atmosphere
- Collect and compile daily cash and sales data using software
- Lead nightly closeout and balance cash with daily sales
- Perform nightly audit of cashier documentation
- Assist management with scheduling and assigning work tasks
- Assist with hiring General Utility Workers and Sales Associates
- Coordinate, supervise, and submit payroll ensuring accuracy
