Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail or customer service experience
- Experience with event coordination or children’s activities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as bending, carrying, and reaching
- Willingness to interact with customers of all ages
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must comply with all federal, state, and local legal requirements
Job Qualifications

- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail and customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem-solving skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers
- Ability to engage customers and provide friendly service
- Knowledge of craft projects and event coordination preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects, perform face painting, and manage party activities
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- Communicate events with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and maintain cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- Help customers shop and locate products
- Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience
- Promote rewards programs and credit card enrollments
- Educate customers on feedback surveys
- Assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram tasks
- Complete merchandise recovery and store maintenance
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies
- Interact respectfully with customers and team members
- Cross-train in custom framing selling and production
- Maintain daily store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom upkeep
