Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of sales, marketing or merchandising experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Proficient in computer and mobile device usage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Frequent regional travel
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to maintain assigned storage space
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and adhere to reporting

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, marketing, and merchandising
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Computer and mobile device proficiency including business applications software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to produce clear and concise written materials
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Skills to frame and position sales concepts persuasively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance and understand vehicle reporting requirements

Job Duties

  • Train and develop new lottery retailers on equipment functions, products, account management and sales drivers
  • Make regular visits to retailers to maintain a consistent and professional presence
  • Remove closed games within required timeframes and manage inventory pick-up and transfers
  • Recommend product mix and facing counts to optimize sales
  • Review key sales metrics with retailers and communicate organizational strategies
  • Develop, implement and evaluate sales promotions and motivate retailer participation
  • Deliver, install and maintain lottery retail displays and gather feedback on products and promotions
  • Work with sales managers and business analysts on sales optimization projects
  • Cold call businesses to sign up new retailers
  • Participate in selling events, customer appreciation promotions, and other assigned projects
