Job Requirements

  • Six months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • Six months experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
  • Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
  • Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
  • Minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted or over 25 pounds with or without an accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Six months of retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Bi-lingual skills preferred
  • Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials) preferred
  • Six months experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
  • Six months experience using common retail technology such as smart phones and tablets
  • Ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing and sitting
  • Ability to minimally lift 25 pounds unassisted or over 25 pounds with or without an accommodation

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
  • Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
  • Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
  • Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
  • Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
  • Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
  • Guide customers through shopping or checkout
  • Complete other duties as assigned
