Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in retail or customer service is an asset
- Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- Capability to lift and handle items weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock and fulfillment roles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must follow operational procedures and safety standards

Job Duties
- Work with the team to ensure the salesfloor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening
- Assist customers with a variety of cashiering transactions across different platforms including in-store, online and mobile
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting and returning clothing
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the salesfloor
- Keep stockrooms organized and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Adhere to all operational, merchandise and asset protection standards
- Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program
