Job Requirements
- Proven sales experience in beef or protein products
- Ability to travel 25 to 35 percent of the time
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Comfortable with cold outreach and prospecting
- Based in or willing to travel regularly to Lincoln, Nebraska
Job Qualifications
- Experience in retail sales within the protein industry
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in retail or food-related industries is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead expansion of Certified Piedmontese beef in regional retail accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail decision-makers and senior executives
- Introduce and promote Certified Piedmontese grass-fed, grass-finished ground beef in retail chains
- Coordinate product sampling and conduct in-store or buyer product demonstrations
- Collaborate with accounts to develop additional product cuts and formats
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams on distribution, promotion, marketing, and brand execution to maximize sales
- Travel regularly to visit retail customers and attend industry events
