Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

- Physical capability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds for stock or fulfillment roles

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic proficiency with store technology and inventory systems
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds (for stock or fulfillment roles)
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and ownership in previous roles
Job Duties
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
- Keep the stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
- Work with the team to ensure the sales floor stays runway ready through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Assist customers with a variety of transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
- Demonstrate expertise in all technologies used in the store environment
- Defuse customer situations and provide resolutions in a timely and effective manner
- Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments
- Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards
- Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing, and shipping standards
- Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
- Provide general support to the store, such as setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures
