Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with others
- Willingness to meet daily sales goals
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Capacity to perform physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Good vision including close, color, and depth perception
- Proficiency with computers, handheld devices, and cash registers
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable using electronic devices and cash registers
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Greet and engage customers to create welcoming and personalized shopping experiences
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor and fitting rooms
- Stay informed about sales goals, promotions, and product knowledge to drive performance
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using electronic devices
- Promote Macy’s Loyalty program and ensure customer satisfaction at checkout
- Collaborate with team members to support store operations and achieve sales targets
