Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English

- Ability to handle electronic devices and process register transactions
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 25 lbs, and perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing and reaching tasks
- Ability to use close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Frequent use of computers and technology necessary for job functions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic proficiency with electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to read and understand policies and safety procedures in English
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals and work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized sales recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor and fitting rooms
- Meet and exceed daily sales goals through effective customer engagement
- Update signage and pricing and support merchandise moves
- Promote Macy’s Loyalty program and assist customers with account openings
- Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding customer service
- Close sales with sincere thank-yous and walk packages around to customers
