Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level
- Comfortable using technology including handheld devices and cash registers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience beneficial
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Customer-focused attitude with a passion for sales
- Comfortable using electronic devices and register systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and build personal connections
- Understand and recommend products based on customer needs
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and fitting rooms
- Stay updated on sales goals, promotions, and product knowledge
- Support merchandise moves and update pricing and signage
- Promote the Macy’s Loyalty program and finalize sales with sincere appreciation
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service
